Instructions

  3. Return mixture to saucepan and cook over low heat until thickened.

  5. Stir gelatin into warm custard until dissolved. Add vanilla extract.
  6. Cool the mixture to room temperature.
  7. Whip heavy cream to stiff peaks. Fold into custard gently.
