Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  4. In a bowl, mix the brown butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  5. Add eggs and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  6. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
  8. Fold in the chopped pecans and chocolate chips.
  9. Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto a baking sheet.
