- 2 tablespoons milk (for frosting)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit until frothy.
- Melt butter and mix with sugar, eggs, and spices.
- Add the yeast mixture to the butter mixture.
- Gradually add flour and knead until smooth.
- Let dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Roll out dough, spread butter, and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll up dough tightly and cut into slices.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk for frosting.
- Spread frosting over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger chai flavor, add more spices.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
