Description

Delicious chocolate chip cheesecake bars with a creamy filling and a cookie crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Mix well.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  4. In another bowl, beat cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the pan.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set.
  9. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in the fridge.
  • For a thicker crust, increase the amount of graham cracker crumbs.
  • You can use other types of chocolate chips if desired.
