Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  5. Mix in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  9. Let the brownies cool completely.
  10. For ganache, heat heavy cream until just boiling.
  11. Pour over chopped chocolate and let sit for 5 minutes.
  12. Stir until smooth and pour over cooled brownies.
  13. Let ganache set before slicing into squares.
