A rich and indulgent dessert combining chocolate and peanut butter in a unique cake.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped peanuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
  5. In another bowl, combine peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture over the batter in the pan.
  7. Pour the remaining chocolate batter over the peanut butter layer.
  8. Sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped peanuts on top.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
  • For a richer taste, serve with whipped cream.
