Description
A sweet and salty treat combining churro flavors with toffee on saltine crackers.
Ingredients

- 40 saltine crackers
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until smooth.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then let it boil for 3 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and stir in cinnamon.
- Pour the mixture over the saltine crackers, spreading evenly.
- Bake in the oven for 5-7 minutes, until bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Allow the chocolate to melt, then spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle powdered sugar on top and let cool before breaking into pieces.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- You can add nuts or different toppings if desired.
