Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  3. Add milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla. Stir until combined.
  4. In another bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Fill cupcake liners halfway with batter, sprinkle brown sugar mixture, then top with remaining batter.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cupcakes cool completely.
  8. For frosting, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth, adding milk as needed.
  9. Frost cooled cupcakes and serve.
