Description

Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup of Gruyere cheese, grated
- 1 cup of Emmental cheese, grated
- 1 clove of garlic, halved
- 1 cup of dry white wine
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon of kirsch (cherry brandy)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Bread cubes for dipping
Instructions
- Rub the inside of the fondue pot with garlic.
- In a pot, heat the white wine and lemon juice over medium heat.
- Gradually add the grated cheeses, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Mix the cornstarch with kirsch and stir into the cheese mixture.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer to the fondue pot and keep warm.
- Dip bread cubes into the cheese using fondue forks.

- Serve with a variety of dippers like vegetables and meats.
