Description

Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches are a delicious treat combining the flavors of strawberries and cheesecake in a crispy coating.


Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture on 4 slices of bread.
  3. Add sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese.
  4. Top with the remaining 4 slices of bread to make sandwiches.
  5. In a shallow bowl, combine flour and milk to make a batter.
  6. Dip each sandwich into the batter, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  7. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  8. Fry each sandwich until golden brown on both sides.
  9. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  10. Serve warm, optionally dusted with powdered sugar.
