Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add butter and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.
  4. Reserve half of the mixture for topping.
  5. Press the remaining mixture into the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Arrange sliced apples on top of the crust.
  7. Sprinkle cinnamon and oats over the apples.
  8. Top with the reserved crumb mixture.
  9. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool before serving.
