Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and spices.
- In another bowl, whisk together brown sugar, molasses, milk, oil, and egg.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Pour batter into a greased donut pan.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let donuts cool before removing from the pan.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- These can be topped with icing or powdered sugar.
