- 1 tablespoon instant yeast
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough and cut into donut shapes.
- Let the donuts rise for another 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the donuts until golden brown.
- Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Fill the donuts with whipped cream.
Notes
- Make sure the milk is warm, not hot.
- Use a thermometer to check oil temperature for frying.
- Store filled donuts in the refrigerator.
