  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice to the yeast mixture.
  3. Mix in the flour and salt until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle.
  7. Spread butter on the dough, sprinkle with sugar and lemon zest.
  8. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  9. Place rolls in a greased baking pan and let rise for 30 minutes.
  10. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
  11. Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice to create glaze.
  12. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls before serving.
