- 1 loaf of panettone, cubed
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Butter for greasing
Instructions
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Place cubed panettone in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the mixture over the panettone, ensuring all pieces are soaked.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm, optionally with syrup or powdered sugar.
Notes
- Use day-old panettone for best results.
- Customize with fruits or nuts if desired.
