- 4 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Layer the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix the heavy cream, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Dab butter on top of the cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can include herbs like thyme or rosemary.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
