- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups rice cereal
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, butter, corn syrup, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and chopped pecans.
- Add rice cereal and mix well until coated.
- Spread the mixture onto a greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Let cool before breaking into pieces.
