Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon red food coloring
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. In a bowl, melt the butter and mix with sugar.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, salt, and red food coloring.
  6. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  7. Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  8. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  9. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer.
  10. Top with the remaining brownie batter.
  11. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  12. Let cool and cut into squares.
