Description
A simple recipe for tender shredded beef sandwiches made in a slow cooker.
Ingredients

- 3 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 sandwich rolls
- Optional: sliced cheese, pickles, or barbecue sauce for serving
Instructions
- Place the sliced onion and minced garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Season the beef with salt and pepper, then place it on top of the onions and garlic.
- In a bowl, mix beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Pour over the beef.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender.
- Remove the beef, shred it with two forks, and return it to the slow cooker. Stir to combine with the juices.
- Serve on sandwich rolls with optional toppings.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the beef overnight.
- Adjust seasonings to your taste.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
