  • 1/4 cup water
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix spinach, black-eyed peas, onion, garlic, and spices.
  2. Add flour and cornmeal; mix well.
  3. Gradually add water to form a thick batter.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil.
  6. Fry until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels.
