Ingredients

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add egg and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
- Roll out the dough and cut into desired shapes.
- Place cutouts on a baking sheet.
- Fill the center of each cookie with crushed hard candies.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Cool on wire racks before serving.
Notes
- Choose hard candies with bright colors for a vibrant effect.
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- For a thicker cookie, refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes before rolling out.
