A delicious layered cake featuring strawberries and whipped cream.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add butter, milk, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
- Pour batter into prepared pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cakes cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
- Whip cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Once cakes are cool, layer them with whipped cream and strawberries.
- Top with remaining whipped cream and strawberries.
Notes
- Use fresh strawberries for best flavor.
- Chill the whipped cream for better consistency.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
