Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add egg yolk and cold water, mix until dough forms.
  4. Press dough into a tart pan and bake for 15 minutes.
  5. In a saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, sugar, cornstarch, and orange zest.
  6. Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst and mixture thickens.
  7. Pour cranberry mixture into the baked tart shell.
  8. Bake for an additional 20 minutes.
  9. Let cool before serving.
